Mrs. Mississippi & Mrs. Tennessee America Pageant

I was in Tunica, Mississippi for the Mrs. Mississippi and Mrs. Tennessee America Pageant directed by the always stunning, Delayna Jackson Bridges.  We were all thankful there were no floods and storms in the forecast for this year's pageant, last year the pageant was help in a hotel lobby due to the massive floods that hit Tennessee. The show was a amazing and the newly crowned queens were stunning! Congratulations to Michelle Cole, Mrs. Mississippi America 2011, and Melody Usdan, Mrs. Tennessee America 2011! I know you will both represent your states well!

Tony Bowls Fashion Show

What an honor!! I had the privilege of walking in a fashion show for the extremely talented designer, Tony Bowls! With my sister queens by my side, Emily, Candice and Tristan, we strutted our stuff down the runway of this high energy show! One of my favorite moments happened after the show when Emily Lopez (Miss Jr. Teen United States) had her Tony Bowls gown that she was crowned in, signed by Tony! All proceeds raised from the event will benefit local school districts, school projects and educational foundations from over 30 metro area high schools in Kansas. The fashion show, showcasing Tony Bowls designer fashions, will be featured in an upcoming television reality show.  While in Kansas, I also had the opportunity to have dinner with Tony and really get to know him on a personal level, and I have to say, he is one of the nicest, most sincere individuals I have ever met! He does so much for so many and truly has a heart of gold! Thank you Tony for being an inspiration to so many!

Natalie M & The Overland Park Bridal Show

I had a wonderful time with all ladies and gentlemen behind the scenes of Natalie M dress shop in Kansas.  Since 1973, family-owned Natalie M. has offered unmatched collections of elegant designer clothing for today’s fashionable woman. They carry evening dresses, prom dresses, wedding gowns, business fashion apparel and dresses for all special occasions including designs by Tony Bowls, Alfred Angelo, Mon Cheri, Sherri Hill and many others.  I alongside the other United States queens, Emily Lopez (Miss Jr. Teen United States), Candice Cruz (Miss Teen United States) and Tristan Topps (Ms. United States) were able to promote this wonderful dress shop at the Bridal Show held in the Overland Park Convention Center. Donned in gorgeous Tony Bowls and Alfred Angelo gowns and dresses, our entourage was hard to miss! Thank you Natalie and Myra for including me in this amazing event!

Firefighters Christmas For Kids Christmas Party

I had the honor attending the Firefighters Christmas For Kids Party where over 300 kids and their families were present to enjoy good food, Santa and Mrs. Claus, elves and of course, presents! It was a wonderful evening for the children and adults alike!  I made it my goal to meet every child in the room, and if I did not, I know I must have been very close! Seeing the abundance of smiles all around was the perfect Christmas gift for me.  Another wonderful gift, learning that Dani, the little girl I visited a couple weeks before, was first on the heart transplant list and should have a heart in a matter of weeks.  God is good! Merry Christmas and God Bless!

VF National Sales Meeting

I had the honor of presenting the sales awards at the Vanity Fair National Sales meeting that was held at the Lowes Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee.  What a beautiful evening to celebrate the successes of some amazing individuals.  Despite the poor economy, these individuals showed what it means to be determined in the face of adversity.  Thank you to everyone at Vanity Fair and the Lowes Vanderbilt for a wonderful evening!
